Make Mac Better vs Magnet

Where Magnet is better
Magnet is cheap, simple and sold through the Mac App Store, which some people prefer for purchases and updates. If you just want Windows-style snapping, it does the job.
Where Make Mac Better is different
With Magnet you snap each window yourself, and when you close one there is a gap. In Make Mac Better’s tiling, windows dock onto each other, slots can be split as deep as you like, and when a window closes its neighbours take the space. Prefer not to tile at all? Switch to the scrolling strip with ⌃⌥M.
One app instead of several
Make Mac Better also includes a second Dock with widgets, 38 local tools for video, PDF and images, natural-language file search, phone-to-Mac transfer, screenshots with an editor and keep-awake.
Bottom line
Choose Magnet for inexpensive, classic snapping from the App Store. Choose Make Mac Better for automatic tiling or a scrolling strip, tabs, and the other utilities in one purchase.
